I have been working in the language services industry since 2012, with experience in translation, transcreation, localization, and MTPE across a variety of domains. Alongside translation, I am an interpreter, primarily working in bilateral and consecutive interpreting settings. I currently serve as President of AITI Puglia, Associazione Italiana Traduttori e Interpreti, actively contributing to the professional community through representation, advocacy, and training initiatives. During my gap year, I gained valuable experience in the non-profit sector. I worked as a volunteer translator for Translators4Children, handling medical records and procedures and contributing to the creation of a bilingual database. I also served as a Project Manager Assistant at Global Voices, where I was responsible for proofreading, transcribing, and editing assigned content. My academic and institutional collaborations include: - Italian language tutor and subtitler for the University of Essex - Translator and proofreader for the University of East Anglia and North Dakota State University I am also a published author, with an academic contribution featured in Lingue e Linguaggi (Università del Salento). In parallel with my professional practice, I work as a trainer and lecturer, teaching English, translation, interpreting, and CAT.
