Actively participated in interviewing, producing and writing news content for Singtel's digital media platform. There was heavy involvement in analyzing web materials, and trends to establish story leads. Hands on experience in writing features and news articles, interviews,critics and reviews of events, restaurants, products and services. Also handled the company's social media activities.
Was part of the volunteer group of writers for a prominent alternative news website, Publichouse. There was active participation in reporting, interviewing, photographing and, videoing and editing footage to create online newsworthy content. Had the opportunity to meet and interview key political figures in Singapore and to write compelling stories that ranged from Singapore politics, healthcare reforms, foreign workers, to features on the country's art and creative industry. The objective with Publichouse was to empower the country through the voice of citizens, that traditional media did not cover.
