I work on the architecture and development of the backend systems of a regulated and compliance-focused cryptocurrency exchange. I am hands-on with .NET-based microservices, CQRS and MediatR, and API-driven architectures supporting mobile and web clients. My work includes building scalable, secure, and high-availability systems, integrating KYC, AML, and identity verification providers, and designing auditable and regulation-compliant fintech workflows. From a technical perspective, I focus on: -Backend architecture and system design -Secure and performant API development -Microsoft SQL Server data modeling and optimization -End-to-end KYC and verification flows (document processing, NFC, video calls) -Compliance-aligned, traceable, and resilient data and document workflows I ensure that the technology stack aligns with regulatory requirements, security standards, and long-term scalability.
I started my journey at BtcTurk when the company was still in its early growth phase, with a small software team and around 500,000 users on the platform. Over time, I witnessed and contributed to the company’s rapid expansion, as BtcTurk grew to serve more than 7 million users. As Turkey’s first and largest cryptocurrency exchange, and one of the top four exchanges worldwide, BtcTurk offered a unique environment to work on large-scale, high-performance systems. Being part of this growth journey allowed me to gain deep experience in scalable backend systems, product evolution, and engineering practices required for a global fintech platform.
