I have been involve myself extensively in construction industry in both consultancy firm and main-contractor construction company. Well-versed in M&E building service design, project management, tender, procurement, site management, testing & commissioning and utilize BIM (Revit and Navisworks) for project management & coordination. Experienced with local authority submission and obtaining approval, submission to utilities/ service provider and attending meeting with group of professionals, consultants and client for project alignment, for different type of project, including low rise residential, high rise residential, commercial, semi-con industry, pharmaceutical, life science, data centre etc. Competent in fire fighting system, Air-Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation, Cold Water System, Sanitary Plumbing System, Vertical Transportation System, Cleanroom-Mechanical design and etc.
- Direct a multidisciplinary team of 13 engineers and BIM modelers, fostering a high-performance culture focused on technical excellence and collaborative innovation. - Spearhead professional development initiatives to upscale the department’s technical competencies and stay ahead of industry benchmarks. - Deliver comprehensive engineering solutions and cost-of-construction analyses for complex cleanroom architectural systems, HVAC, electrical, and control systems. - Provide specialized consultancy for mission-critical industries, including Semiconductors, Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, and Data Centers. - Oversee diverse engagement models, including EPCC, EPCM, and competitive tender-to-construction phases. - Define and execute the company’s strategic roadmap to ensure long-term market competitiveness and sustainable organizational growth.
Leading HVAC department to work on various project focusing on cleanroom, pharmaceutical GMP compliance building across different country throughout the entire project life cycle. Providing technical advise, detailed design and engineering calculation at different stages of the project with compliance to client and GMP standard. Providing innovative engineering solution to project with special requirement, e.g. project that handling Highly Active Potent Pharmaceutical Ingredient (HAPI) for an oncology facility. Enhancing department operation and streamline the procedure on engineering design.
Leading a team of 6 member providing technical engineering support to internal sales team as well as overseeing performance of branches in Malaysia. - Provide technical engineering support including engineering design, site solution on retrofit project, technical presentation material. - Provide necessary technical support to increase sales, including giving technical training, involve directly in project HVAC design. - Support and assist on project with requirement on BIM and provide necessary equipment 3D model. - Overseeing the technical queries from branches and provide necessary support including conducting technical sharing on engineering topic, providing presentation material for briefing to client, visit to consultant & client. - Upskill the engineering department overall technical competency by project study, technical sharing and giving guidance on compliance to code & regulation.
Involve in planning, design, procurement, construction supervision and project management for semiconductor industry front end FAB building including cleanroom up to ISO Class 3, infrastructure and utilities. Engineering design on HVAC system for entire building including cleanroom, which use BIM as coordination tools.
Engineering design on ACMV system and BMS system for office, production and cleanroom, which use BIM as coordination tools. Involve in project management, tender and procurement, construction supervising.
