I founded IQ Laser Vision in 1999 on the premise of providing the best laser vision correction experience available. As the Medical Director, I ensure that all IQ Laser Vision centers are equipped with the most advanced technology. For over 20 years, I have successfully performed more than 60,000 refractive procedures. As one of California’s most experienced eye surgeons, I believe in the importance of personalized care and I take pride in developing a genuine relationship by treating each patient like family. In 2019 we were proud to announce that IQ Laser Vision became the number one SMILE center in the United States. SMILE is a refractive procedure that allows myopic patients to see without the need of creating a flap for a faster recovery time. I am devoted full time to refractive eye surgery, as a pioneer in ultra-thin flap LASIK (Micro-LASIK®, Trademark #2681144, U.S. Patent Office) and LASEK. I've been featured on nationally televised shows such as Inside Edition to discuss the advantages of Kamra Inlay and Health Watch to discuss the advantages of the Micro-LASIK® procedure, which is a tissue-conserving technique that results in less dry eyes, decreased weakening of the cornea, and offers more available treatment options to patients. In many cases, the procedure can improve an individual’s vision to a level better than with the use of glasses or contact lenses. Dr. Lin is a leader in refractive eye surgery, enabling him to offer the latest and most advanced vision-enhancing options, including SMILE, All-Laser Comfort Custom Micro-LASIK and Refractive Cataract Surgery that allow patients to see well both near and far, Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL) for extremely high nearsightedness, Kamra Inlays for Presbyopia, Intacs Corneal Rings for Keratoconus, and FDA approved Ortho-K contact lenses that slow progression of nearsightedness in children.
