- Conduct advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting of vehicle electronic systems for Volkswagen, Audi, and Škoda models, identifying root causes of mechanical, electrical, and software issues. - Perform hands-on work with high-voltage systems in electric and hybrid vehicles, including battery management, insulation testing, and HV component servicing in compliance with OEM safety protocols. - Carry out detailed testing, repair, and calibration of low-voltage systems such as sensors, ECUs, wiring harnesses, lighting, infotainment, and ADAS systems. - Utilize OEM diagnostic platforms (e.g., ODIS) and specialized tools to execute software updates, parameterizations, and coding for various control modules. - Support technical investigations, including CAN-Bus and LIN network analysis, voltage/current measurements, and oscilloscope-based signal evaluation. - Ensure compliance with Volkswagen Group service standards and documentation procedures, contributing to service quality and brand reputation
Aim of the study: Determine subjectively and objectively one of the N – DNA pillars named as "carving feel" (Corner Rascal). Objectify the specified driving sensation and develop an index as an evaluation metric for future N vehicles - Definition and integration of "carving feel" in general vehicle dynamics (Investigation and research of the origin of the carving term and possible connections with the automotive sector). - Development of a subjective evaluation method related to "carving sensation" (Conduction of an initial subjective evaluation with different expert drivers and engineers from various departments. Definition of the appropriate subjective vehicle tests and the corresponding subjective attributes that fulfil the aspects concerning "carving feel"). - Establishment of a specified driving manoeuvre as an objective vehicle test (Development of an objective test method according to the subjective evaluation results in conformity with other existing standards and analysis of the extracted signals. Conduction of an objective evaluation with use of the necessary measurement equipment). - Initial proposal of a "carving feel" index (Objectification of the parameter with the utilization of the aforementioned variables that have been initially investigated and compared with all tested vehicles). - Conduction of a statistical linear regression analysis between subjective attributes and objective results. Inspection of the regression results that showcase robustness and reliability.
