Venture philantropy - Leading Egregor's flagship programme The Catalyst, growth, advocacy, partnerships' strategy. Egregor is a next-generation social endowment fund that offers catalytic, free, strategic, ethical and deeply human support to high-impact NGOs and start-ups, in Africa and French marginalized territories. We work as sparring partners, bridging the gap between the nonprofit and private sectors by combining the best of venture-capital strategy, development practice, and systemic acceleration. We work on blended finance and bridge capital. We strive to advocate for a change of practice in the sector, with donors at the service and not the contrary.

- Departure from Niger CO in July 2024 due to visa hurdles (French citizenship). - Led the development and review of quality of the Programme Core Competencies strategies : Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL) ; Information, Counselling and Legal Assistance (ICLA) ; Water, Hygiene and Sanitation (WASH), Shelter; Education, Protection from Violence (PfV) - Supervised the implementation of 15+ projects (200 staffs), direct management of 20+ staff. - Advocacy towards donors and government regarding policy reforms, access to legal rights, humanitarian access - Enhanced response policy with developing multisectoral rapid response, market-based programmes, emergency in education, innovative education practices and area-based approaches. - Strived to improve efficiency by reviewing communication lines, workflows, and technological tools. - Supported the Country Director in all required tasks. Represented NRC with all donors. - Fundraising, design and programmatic support of teams on agricultural and NRM innovative programs (biochar, biogas, hydroponics, solar-cooking, climate-smart agricultural training).
- Key member of the senior management team recruited in June 2023 to establish the new country office. - Created fundraising strategy and donor mapping. Achieved a 96% conversion rate on 25 funding proposals in 10 months through the development of a comprehensive funding strategy, expanding funding to non-traditional donors (foundations and private), acting as the primary donor liaison and negotiation focal point. - Led grant administration and compliance efforts, including drafting proposals, ensuring robust reporting, and collaborating with finance teams on expense eligibility and project flexibility. - Oversaw Project Cycle Management (PCM) processes and M&E activities. - Contributed strategic insights to the Country Strategy and programmatic objectives, developed tools, systems and SOPs (M&E, Community Feedback Mechanism, Individual Protection Assistance, PCM, reporting). - Managed local partnerships while developing CO’s localization framework (academia, L/NNGOs, private).
