London, England, United Kingdom
My teaching experience ranges from teaching German language, history, culture and society, to the field of Second Language Acquisition, theory and practice. I have taught students from diverse national and cultural backgrounds on BA and MA programmes in Germany, Thailand and Britain. My research is largely concerned with the movement of people from the European continent to Britain as a consequence of WW2, with a particular focus on migrants' histories, memories and identities. My research projects have led to a number of co-authored and co-edited books, academic articles and appearances on radio and TV.
