Tarmak is the basketball brand of Decathlon. My responsibility is to make the sport accessible for the many Belgian people. I try to increase the market share of Tarmak on the Belgian basketball market. I am in close contact with the HQ of Tarmak, that is situated in Tourcoing, France. Together, we try to create the best offer for the Belgian basketball player. Via innovations, great quality and low prices, I want people to enjoy the joy of playing basketball. I am in close contact with our 39 stores and the online team. Developing national strategies and guiding the stores and the online team in applying it, is one of the main things I focus on. I create a network of people that are not only passionated by basketball, but are also locally very active. That way we connect the national strategies with the local needs. A key to success.
Make people grow by believing in their own strengths. As a coach, this is my mission. I try to help people in getting to know who they really are. The more they understand their values in life, their talents and their competences, the more they will reach their goals. I was blessed to experience a personal transformation that helped me to experience life in a more authentic way. When I see that my coachees walk down the same path, I feel proud.
