At ClimatePartner, I helped companies in different industries implement their sustainability strategies and achieved their climate goals. I worked on projects related to carbon footprint analysis, offsetting, and reporting, as well as developed customized solutions for different sectors and regions. I was passionate about making a positive impact on the environment and society, and I enjoyed working with a diverse and collaborative team that shared this vision.
During my traineeship I spent three periods of six months working on projects within different departments. Here I got to learn how the company works from all the different departments and how all these departments work individually as well as together. Sustainability and innovation department: Here I worked on setting up an innovation challenge for start-ups in collaboration with Yes!Delft. Project realization department: during this time I worked on creating a report on citizen participation for large scale energy projects. Management and sales department: during my last six months I worked on the tender team and on creating customer journeys as well as organizing consumer panels.
While working at UNIDO during my 3 month internship, I worked in the Department of Environment under the Montreal Protocol Division. Here I worked on projects concerning the ozone-depleting substances (ODS) phase-out plans. I did work that contributed to the phase-out of hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) in different countries.
With a group of 40 students and young professionals we traveld to Dublin, Timişoara and Budapest for 4 weeks to learn about climate action, innovation, systems transformation, and community building.
