● Served as a volunteer programme lead for fundraising, partnerships, and implementation to reach out to people in need. ● Facilitated YARD board and staff members to draft proposals and secure funds. Drafted proposal for Nepal Reads, RHRN2, KNH, LWR, and WVI and prepared a budget for YARD. Voluntarily responsible for operations and staff management. ● Worked together with YARD team and secured 5 long-term partnerships within 9 months of collaboration, networking, and application for funds to the donor agencies.
Responsible across all British Embassy Kathmandu (BEK)-funded projects in the province by collecting relevant field data and ensuring safe & effective implementation of all programmes through advisory/analytical reports to the BEK and project staff. Efficiently monitor progress controls involving activity mapping, joint reporting and risk management updates by building strong networks and setting up field coordination mechanisms in the province as well as within BEK. Take the lead in preparing work plans in respective regions, and monitoring their progress; ensure timely and smooth implementation of the activities as well as to capacitate human resource involved in the program; by arranging and training field staff on security. Collect and report on security incidents, road blockades, natural disasters and other elements affecting security of implementing agencies and their staff.
Focal Point for Nepal’s Chief of Mission (CoM) and Program Manager in the district for implementing IOM Nepal’s projects under Transition & Recovery Unit (TRU) which developed future DRR/emergency preparedness plans & initiatives, designed and conducted DRR campaigns locally. Moreover, constructed safe shelter houses. Regularly monitored project activities and reported work progress recommending / taking actions; updated the Line Manager accordingly Set up internal monitoring tools and regular progress reporting mechanisms; prepared work plans, periodic reports, work delivery and evaluation reports based on project requirements
Assisted the National Field Coordinator and Disaster Resilient Advisor in assessing the level of preparedness planning amongst provincial and local level actors for identifying gaps that could be addressed through UNRCO support; analysed data to identify key gaps and prioritize government’s engagement Designed a workshop/series of workshops to present assessment findings, and foster improved linkages between different actors on preparedness and response and recommend interim ways of working during 2018 monsoon Provided IM support to local level actors by generating related products to actor mapping matrixes and identify opportunities for augmenting local coordination. Shared high-quality ad hoc analytical reports with UNRCO on protection context in specific locations.
