In my last role as Head of System Delivery at thyssenkrupp Components Technology Hungary, I lead a 400+ engineering organization covering different disciplines of the R&D. My role bridges engineering, industrialization— working towards scalable delivery, financial discipline, and operational excellence in a highly competitive automotive environment. I focus on: • versatile parts of the complete system delivery • Cross-functional alignment in matrix structures • Continous cultural transformation I believe sustainable performance comes from trusted colleagues with the rigth authority and ownership, working within the proper guiderails and guided by the mirror of perfomance provided by the rigth metrics.
The organisation included HW development, Algorithm and SW development, System integration, Verification and Validation activities and Test Infrastructure development. As the head of this organisation my responsibility was to assure the necessary human and development resources to succesfully deliver the projects.
My responsibility was the portfolio management and sponsorship of the research and advanced development projects at Budapest Location, and participate in the global R&A strategy development and execution.
Advanced Development Department
Providing technical expert support in business development activities, representing the E/E technical content. Participation in expert-level discussions with OEM's to understand requirements and translating these into our customized technical solutions. Acting as the interface between customer needs and internal technical teams, ensuring alignment. Good relations were built, implementaiton readiness of our solutions were achieved.
The Budapest location is the E/E competence centre of the Thyssenkrupp Presta, supporting the development ofElectrical Power Steering product. The task is the leadership of the department, where app. 55 empoyees are working on the following fields. - Algorithm Development: overall control of the EPS system and steering function development; - Sw development of the top level control algorithms (from requirements until module tested sw components); - System design and system integration; - Sw development to support the manufacturing and assembly processes.
Technical and disciplinary leadership of the group, that is dealing with the top level control algorithms of the Electrical Power Assisted Steering System. Support running projects into SOP, delivering a unique control concept. Providing expert support in technical discussion with OEMs.
