Imogen builds the governance, regulatory and legal frameworks that allow Stelia's incredibly powerful technologies to scale responsibly; ensuring they remain aligned with human values. Her work centres on transparency in operation and accountability in impact. As CLO and a member of the Board at Stelia, Imogen focuses on building the legal and governance foundations required for the safe development and global deployment of advanced intelligence systems. Imogen oversees the company’s global legal strategy, corporate governance, regulatory engagement and intellectual property moat, while supporting strategic partnerships and international expansion. Working closely with leadership, researchers, developers and engineers, she ensures that new capabilities move from research into real-world systems in ways that are secure, compliant and trusted. At board level, Imogen’s focus is on long-term stewardship; building the structures that allow transformative technologies to operate safely within society while creating durable enterprise value. Imogen believes, as does so many within the industry, that the future of AI must be shaped not only by technical breakthroughs, but by the governance systems that guide how those breakthroughs are deployed. The industry is facing some of the most pressing philosophical issues of our time, and Imogen engages with these to provide a perspective informed by the best available evidence and thought.
