This past summer holiday, I had the privilege of interning at one of Kenya’s top Investment banks, Sterling Capital LTD. During my 4 weeks as an intern, I had the opportunity to explore various departments such as Corporate finance and advisory, Research and analysis, REITS and many more. This experience was extremely rewarding and has taught me so much about the investment banking industry and the key role it has played in the development Kenya’s economy.
Last year, I had the privilege of doing my work experience at Safaricom PLC During my 4 weeks at Safaricom I was exposed to the fields of cyber security and machine code, which helped me understand what these specific fields entailed. My experience allowed me to expand my network by interacting with some of Safaricoms key personnel, such as Esther Masese Waititu ,The Chief Financial Serices Officer and TABITHA WAITHERA ,a Cyber Security Analyst.
