AC EMEA North BPI Business Excellence Manager: - Create the strategic improvement projects roadmap, monitor and execute its key projects. - Working closely together with various disciplines (marketing, R&D, application specialists, supply, manufacturing) in short and long term projects. - Initiating new product development and innovation and monitor its execution, managing assortment, monitoring technical quality of our products against competition, participate in market launches. Scope: Specialty coatings for the brands Sigma Coatings, Veveo, Boonstoppel, Histor, Rambo in Region Northern Europe. - Projects in the field of sustainabilty such as ecolabels, sustainability information of our products based on LCA and biobased for the full product portfolio. - AC EMEA Process Owner for the in 2014 implemented PPG Global Project Portfolio Managment system (Oracle) and Project Management tool for New Product Developments (design, training, implementation).
Research topic: Selecting materials in product design. The project resulted in a practical communication tool for product designers, their customers and material suppliers. The tools improve the materials selection process for consumer products that require high user-product interaction standards.
