Established in 2021, the DELMIA WorldWide HUB consists of a pool of experts in the field of all the DELMIA Brand software products (Apriso, Ortems, Quintiq). The HUB brings Dassault Systemes and its customers worldwide project quality and stability. Dassault's worldwide GEO-departments as well as the internal Product development teams make use of the HUB resources & expertise to secure this quality and stability. The aim of the traineeship was to acquire extensive knowledge of several departments within the insurance field. I have gained working experience in the departments of Internal Accounts, Risk Analysis, Health Insurance, Damage Claims and Proxy Management. Next to this, there was a significant focus on obtaining a 'helicopter view' in order to spot, analyse and solve inefficiencies throughout the entire organization. As a result, I spent roughly 80% of my time on spotting inefficiencies and consequently designing, discussing, internally 'selling' and developing standalone efficiency software tools (using ao. Visual Studio, SQL Server Management). Starting from scratch, this resulted in a highly developed and complete software package containing business logic, automated calculations, Excel report generation and formatting, database connections, XML messaging and Outlook plug-ins. Three main business improvements resulted from using the software that I designed and delivered: • Efficiency: multiple 30-min manual tasks became 5-min automated tasks, the most significant improvement was in a 16-hour manual task that has become a 2-hour task using the software. • Accuracy: due to automated calculations, the number of inaccuracies due to manual calculation dropped drastically. • Consistency: the implemented business logic and automated calculations lead to Mutsaerts now being sure to offer consistent pricing proposals and insurance conditions to like-for-like prospects and customers.

Responsible for all trainings of new heads-of-teachers in mathematics A and C: • Planned, communicated and directed all head-of-teacher trainings for 4 trainers and 5 new heads-of-teachers • Trained 4 colleagues to successful heads-of-teachers myself. • Ascertained and communicated that 2 colleagues were not suitable to complete the training
Adjusted the teaching method, which increased the efficiency and customer satisfaction • Analysed the problem (using surveys) and analysed past exams (using Excel) • Criticized the efficiency of the teaching method, followed by deleting, changing and adding new parts in the teaching material • Improved the explanation/exercise-ratio from 50/50 to 30/70 • Improved the accuracy of the teaching method from ± 85% to 99% • Convinced all ±80 colleagues into using and retraining for the new teaching method
