Some of the projects I worked on: - For a debt recovery agency, I designed a Machine Learning model to predict the outcome of the debt recovery process. In addition, I designed and maintained an ML pipeline in Azure to monitor the model performance over time and I built an API for end-users. - For a municipality, I deployed a deep learning model to Azure to classify the amount of green in the municipality based on street view pictures. The predictions were made in parallel using PyTorch, decreasing the computing time from 30 days (on-premise) to 4 days (Azure) - For a debt recovery agency, I helped to migrate the old on-premises data processing system to modern data warehouse in Azure Synapse Analytics, while leveraging distributed computing with Spark Pools
Teaching assistant for several bachelor and master Statistics courses, which cover theoretical aspects and programming in R. Further responsibilities include, creating course content and exam training for small groups of students
Accompany children from primary school (age 10 to 12) when visiting the university. Here, they learn more about the Science faculty and perform small experiments to get a better understanding what it’s like to be a science student at the university.
Project title: "Linear mixed effects modeling in a small cohort cross-over clinical trial with metoprolol" For 9 months I was involved in a project that studied the efficacy and safety of the blood pressure lowering drug Metoprolol. I performed the statistical analysis, which included data cleaning and visualization, Pharmacokinetics & Dynamics analysis and Linear Mixed Effects Modeling.
