For as long as I can remember, I’ve always loved the whole idea of hospitality and how good it feels to exceed peoples’ expectations when it comes to making them feel welcome. Because I approach this business from a place of enthusiasm, I’m highly capable of motivating people and they often see me as an intuitive communicator. My open attitude makes me approachable and I believe flexibility is key when dealing with others. It also gives me the willingness to explore different paths in order to nurture good relationships. Over the years, I’ve earned the right to call myself a leader and I like to put the focus on inspirational leadership and coaching. I believe team members thrive best when they have the space to grow, to make mistakes, and to take ownership of what they do. It’s very important to create a culture that focuses on continuous improvement, where we can learn from our successes and failures and immediately implement what we have learned. As a leader, one of my strengths is to create calm where chaos has been. Once calm has been restored we can have fun, laugh, collaborate in an open and transparent culture. It all started in May 2019 when my sister, Caren Stevens, and I visited Belgrade for a weekend. It couldn't have been a coincidence that we bumped into two brothers there. They search for truffles, find them, and create delicious truffle products (think of olive oil, tapenade, tartufata salsa, and much more). Impressed by the natural ingredients, quality, and price, we decided to bring these truffle products to the Netherlands. The Truffle Sisters was born! In August 2019, we stood for the first time at the Pure Markt in Amstelpark and discovered that not only our friends and family were enthusiastic about the products but also the Dutch consumer.
All titles within DPG Media with an editorial formula, a large community, and a price comparison tool are part of DPG Special Interest Media: Tweakers, Hardware Info, vtwonen, Ouders van Nu, and AutoWeek. Within Special Interest Media, I am responsible for the in-house advertising agency (17 FTE). Our mission? To tell the advertiser's story to one of the niche target groups. In other words, branded content. In all kinds of forms for example podcasts, video, online content, but also for magazines and events. The team consists of 5 Concept Managers (strategy and concept), 1 Team Lead Project Management, 10 Project Managers (execution, coordination, and organization), and 1 designer (creation).
In a world where technology is increasingly becoming a part of our daily lives, and it's becoming more challenging to keep up to date, people have the need to stay informed about developments, form opinions, make choices, and connect. Based on our passion for and knowledge of technology, we inform and advise consumers independently on tech and consumer electronics. We do this through our brands Tweakers, Hardware Info, and AD tech, in both the Netherlands and Belgium. I am responsible for Bureau Gekkigheid (8 FTE), the in-house advertising agency of Tweakers and Hardware Info.

Conjugo was founded in 2012. Based on insights, Conjugo facilitates meaningful meetings. Conjugo exclusively does this for clients in the IT industry (such as Capgemini, Incentro, SAP, Google). Through market analyses, the potential of prospects is assessed. Depending on the maturity of the prospect, the encounter is facilitated through events or lead generation campaigns. As the Operations Manager (18 FTE), I am responsible for event productions, lead generation, and marketing campaigns, HR, Finance.
Happy Period Box makes the period of women more pleasant through a gift box. In addition to the Happy Period Box, there is also the My First Happy Period Box. This box is specifically designed for girls who are experiencing their first period.
