Leading and managing the TIR IT tools (eTIR, AskTIRWeb, TIR-EPD, TIRSide, TIR Customs Portal and Real-Time SafeTIR) development & deployment in 57 countries around the globe. IT Project manager, responsiple for development, deployment and support for the key international transport client-server and web applications (ATIRS98, AskTIR, AskTIRNet, CUTE, CUTE-Wise) deployed at the time in more than 37 countries • Ensure that all technical deliverables are made to the latest IT standards • Communicate the technical costs/time, and alternatives for all functionality requested. • Articulate (in detail) how the application works technically • Plan and manage the technical aspects of implementation in support of the overall implementation plan. • Document the functional specifications • Document the design and technical specifications for features or enhancements • Plan and manage technical testing. • Provide an appropriate environment for user testing. • Manage the production of technical and operational documentation. • Manage the archiving of all technical deliverables • Manage the resolution of all technical and business problems. IT Software manager, responsible for the creation of the AEBTRI's IT Department from scratch. During this time were completed successfully several very important IT projects like: • TRANS-INFO in collaboration with Svet Ivantchev and Argo Ltd (we used the Argo Ltd remote access software which permitted access via very noisy telephone lines data exchange in real time between AEBTRI, international transport companies and Bulgarian Customs offices in yearly 90's. This was the first professional portal for international transport data exchange collecting the information from 50 different sources divided in different groups (vehicles data, hauliers data, freight exchange, different services, transport Info (good and passenger transport) per country, hot news, multi-modal transport, dangerous goods, flash news, vehicles exchange, data exchange with IRU database, information for foreign partners, data exchange with Customs authorities etc. • SISK (TIR Management system) in collaboration with CTC • ATIRS + facilitation and re-inforcement of the cooperation between IRU and national associations for IT related matters (consultation services for IRU from December 1996 until July 1998 with physical preseence in Geneva IRU office one month of every two (Dec 96, Feb 97, Apr 97, Jun 97, Aug 97, Oct 97, Dec 27) and full time from Feb to Jul 98) During this time I was also working as CEO of TRANS-EXPERT Ltd - a private company which main activity was to continue the distribution and support the TRANS-EXPERT software package in cooperation with AEBTRI and University of Florida. TRANS-EXPERT Ltd closed its activity after I moved permanently to Switzerland.
