I'm a Test engineer with an electronics background and a Masters in Project Management, I have 15+ years experience in development and manufacturing of semiconductors and medical devices. I have lead teams both from the technical perspective and as PM. As a test engineer I have enhanced the efficiency of the testing processes: test time reduction, scripting automations with Perl and Python, pattern development, test execution and test program integration, I also understand the development cycle and the manufacturing needs. As Project Manager I have led processes for: product costing, Design and Process FMEA, validations, design verification, component qualification and coordination between all parts of Operations for New Product Introduction (planning, production, engineering, quality, vendors, supply engineering, global sourcing, etc.). My entire career has been working with New Product Development and Introduction, I have experience on highly regulated and controlled environments: medical devices and semiconductors. I have good people skills, I am comfortable with reporting to higher management, I am comfortable with constructive confrontation, I am a natural leader, enjoy multidisciplinary and multicultural teams, technical challenge and I'm always looking forward to learn new things and continuous improvement. - Bachelor on electronics engineering. - Masters in Project Management - Lead development teams - Technical project management - Focus on efficiency for HVM environments. - Developed hardware testing solutions in C/C++ and C#, also scripting with Perl and Python - Multicultural enthusiast - Attention to details - Project cost analysis - Risk Management - Project Planning
Leading Test Engineering activities as Scrum Master and Technical lead for different NPI projects on the Automotive Ethernet Solutions division. Leading test program development and coordinating technical interactions between design, DFT, test engineers and product engineers on both, the development site and the manufacturing site.
Responsible for ensuring the testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits from the component feasibility stage through production ramp. Make significant contributions to design, development and validation of testability circuits. Evaluation, development and debug of complex test methods. Develops and debugs complex software programs to convert design validation vectors and drive complex test equipment. Creates and tests validation and production test hardware solutions. Tests, characterizes and validates circuits to guarantee component margin to specification, furthermore provides feedback for circuit modification and enhancement redesigns. Analyzes and evaluates component specification versus performance to ensure optimal match of component requirements with production equipment capability with specific emphasis on yield analysis and bin split capability. Creates and applies concepts for optimizing component production relative to both quality and cost constraints.

In charge of planning, executing and control and closure of project phases. Create project budget and product costing, in charge of team selection, risk management and stakeholder management. Manage strategic, business continuity and value improvement projects from start to completion, controlling budget and timeline to achieve goals in time within projected cost. Coach team members to achieve project objectives and help with team member’s development. Role includes: • Project Planning and Definition: Work with project Team to define initial project goals including scope, estimating resources, cost, timeline and risks. Facilitate iterative discussions between functions to draft project proposal. • People Management: Manage multi-project, multi-site cross-functional development teams; lead teams to perform and deliver project goals and control time and cost effectively. • Management of Value Improvement Projects: Manage VIP application; identify, communicate and manage levels of risk. • New Product Excellence Management: Manage New Product Excellence application and new product development; identify, communicate and manage moderate levels of risk. • Project/Program Management: Manage project management processes; develop and implement project plan. • Process Management: Lead team to complete activities to current policies and practices; keeps documentation organized. • Communications and Reviews: Responsible for team and cross-functional communications; liaison between the teams involved in project; leads phase and business reviews when required, project meeting minutes, issues log, metrics, and other key communications.
Joined Boston Scientific as Project Lead for Process Development, leading development and transfer on New Product Introduction of company's Electrophysiology division, involved in early stages of product development, manufacturing processes definition, transfer from development site and deployment on production plant. Coordination between divisions and sites. Role involves: - SCRUM Master for factory OpEX standardization. - Product Owner on continuous improvement activities within projects. - Project definition and project planning, resources estimation, scope and deliverables and schedule control. - Lead process development activities for the manufacturing of new products to be introduced into the medical market. - Lead Value Improvement Projects to reduce product and manufacturing costs. - Coordinate insourcing projects onto BSC plant. - Coordinate continuous learning program for the department, identify learning opportunities and coordinate trainings to develop people skills and increase capacities.
I joined Teradyne as part of Eagle Software development division with a team divided between two sites, Costa Rica and Chicago (USA), with a background in electronics and several years of experience on semiconductor testing and hardware oriented software development and with a closer understanding on customer's side of company's business. I was involved in continuous improvement, development and standardization of tester-user interface for Eagle testers (ETS88/800 platforms) and also was in charge of team's growth on understanding of hardware testing beyond the software development basis, getting the team a wider view of the whole semiconductor testing process and understanding customer's needs and expectations when using a tester. Role includes: - Knowledge sharing - Debugging software interfaces from problem reports using JIRA. - Developing new features on the tester human-machine interface. - Enhances to datalog solutions to match industry standards. - Documentation of processes and changes for standards and user manuals. - Development of test applications for software testing/support.
As a product development engineer for the Xeon® Intel microprocessor family, I worked on the development of test solutions for high volume manufacturing, intended to improve efficiency and quality of the testing process. Part of the role was to coordinate with different teams, from marketing to manufacturing to achieve goals for production and hit product deliverables, I enabled the implementation of security features in new products and developed solutions to enhance fuse testing. I have led convergence projects as Product Owner, with the outcome of an important amount of innovations and enhancements which were deployed across the organization and shared with others. On a daily basis, I worked with virtual teams being part of a Scrum team while being a Scrum master for other team, where we used Agile methodologies to develop complex test programs for the microprocessors, I was involved in the technical direction, design of experiments, process validation and communication with stakeholders, as well as more technical activities such as development of coding solutions and data analysis. I was also involved on the development of new hires in the department, training and coaching them to expand their scopes and develop their technical skills so they could ramp up faster. I have successfully worked on a multicultural environment with development groups located in California (USA), Massachusetts (USA), Oregon (USA) and Penang (Malaysia) achieving great outcome on projects. I had the opportunity to be engaged in a 9 months assignment in Santa Clara, California in 2012 to become the CR team expert in fuses for server products.
