Ignacio Otero is the Managing Partner of Bain & Company's business in Spain and Portugal. In this leadership role he is responsible for Bain's impact and results with its clients, the development of its people, and the growth and performance of the business. He is also a member of Bain's EMEA Leadership Team driving the strategy and growth of the region. He is also a Senior Partner in Bain's Consumer Products, Retail and Performance Improvement / Transformation practices where he has worked extensively in leading multi-functional teams and collaborating with C-level and senior business executives in company-wide strategy, transformation and implementation engagements for leading multinational corporations, family owned companies and investment and Private Equity funds in Spain, Portugal, major European countries, USA, LATAM and Asia-Pacific. Additional sector experience includes Industrials, Healthcare and Insurance. Project experience and results in: Corporate/BU strategy, M&A, Post-Merger Integration, Transformation and Implementation/PMO, Sales, Marketing and Brand strategy, Pricing & Rev Management, Commercial Effectiveness, Supply Chain and Operations, Complexity reduction, Purchasing and Cost optimization (ZBB), Digital Transformation Other past roles at Bain include responsibility over recruiting for Iberia office, global trainer and pro-bono projects for the NGO sector. Before MBA at INSEAD, developed experience in leading large eGovernment and Technology programs and teams in both the private and public sectors. Certified Scrum Master (Agile methodology)
