Responsibilities involved leading a team of 10 software/tests engineers between DFW and Buenos Aires Argentina, dealing with product owners in London and Dallas. ▪ Team responsible for the systems powering main and distribution sites of our brands in Europe (lastminute.com) and APAC (zuji.com) and hotel path for NAM. The platform is a white-label Online Travel Agency offering hotels, flights and dynamic packages. Services consumed by website and by mobile applications. ▪ Creation, Maintenance and Customer support of Travelocity Hotel Web services. Web services consumed both internally (Travelocity apps) and external (Meta partners, OTAs). Hand holding new meta partners. ▪ Working closely to the Product Owner, making prototypes on new ideas and shipping them quickly to Production. A/B testing over the new features to measure performance and conversion. ▪ Application level support on implementations for the site. Monitoring numbers over the pilot days to identify potential issues. Instant hands-on support on any severity issue. ▪ Multiple projects to re-design the UI layer. Several migrations to new platforms. Deeply involved in looking at analytics, trying to identify differences in conversion, potential issues and degrade in performance. ▪ Application code mainly related with Web applications and services. All layers of the application, Front End, Business logic, consumption of services, data sources, third party content.
