I've worked in the database and reporting and software engineering industry for the last 10 years. I have a great understanding of databases and how to query tables to build reports and designing databases for client needs. I am skilled in Postgresql, Microsoft SQL Server and Python but I can learn any new database or programming language really quickly. I have a great understanding of reporting requirements and building ETL pipelines and in Pentaho Data-Integration and Python. I have written a real time data feed pipeline from Open edge feeding into any SQL database with a 60 second latency all done in Python, with self correcting data with a temporal data view for historical change which is a massive benefit when auditing is needed. I have some experience in data analysis and data visualization as well. I have trained in basic java skills which I used in Jasper Reports to write complex and interesting reports based on SQL or XML data sources. I also have a basic understanding of Javascript which I used in designing ETL pipelines in Pentaho. I am a quick learner and able to pick on new technologies very quickly.
