I was promoted to Finance Manager in Feb’13, and managed a team of external consultants to deliver on a global supply chain ERP project. This end to end SAP implementation incorporated business requirements to ensure the ultimate success of the financial aspects of the project, which covered financial integration to Production Planning (SAP PP), Material Management (SAP MM), Sales and Distribution (SAP SD), Financial Accounting and Controlling (SAP FICO), Quality Management (SAP QM) and integration with Business Intelligence. I led each stage of the project lifecycle from preparation to go live ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
Responsible for the European aspects of a global team to implement and integrate SAP across global supply chain, consulted at each stage in the project lifecycle to ensure business requirements were met, to develop high-functionality end-product.
Working with Supply Chain, I managed the financial migration of order to cash and supply chain functions from Sweden to Ireland, leading a team of three external consultants to develop an ERP solution to fit EU5 business requirements and company operating model, in line with CFR11 and SOX requirements. Completed the system implementation which included analysis, design, master data validation and cleansing, mapping & interface design from distribution system to SAP, and interfaces to subsidiary accounting systems. Developed standard operating procedures and work instructions for all system transactions and processes to ensure clear handover and maintain business continuity Reported on Gross Profit for international supply chain spanning 10 EU subsidiaries, EMEA, LATAM, APAC regions, with turnover in excess of $300M Completed management reporting on over 130 operating expense cost centres, through the product life cycle, and diverse business areas from research and development projects to commercial, and supply chain expenses.
