Before GPTW I spent years on the commercial and marketing side in tech and edtech, leading growth at JOIN Solutions and Cambly across Egypt, Saudi and the wider region. I have sat on every side of the table. Building go to market strategies, closing complex deals, launching new products and fixing the not so pretty parts of revenue engines when targets were at risk. What has stayed constant is my belief that numbers only move when people are set up to win. I am obsessed with the everyday details that shape culture. Clear expectations, fair recognition, honest conversations and leaders who show up, not just sign off. Outside of titles I am a father of twins, a former sports guy and a lifelong learner who enjoys turning messy situations into simple, practical plans that teams can actually execute.

▪ Launching Egypt as an emerging up & coming market for Cambly after creating a GTM strategy targeting growth across both B2B & B2C ▪ Manage every aspect of our newly expanding operation in-country ▪ Maintain healthy business metrics especially CAC and LTV ratios and other north star metrics. ▪ Develop a deep understanding of English Learners needs (Cambly's target audience) and Cambly’s vision, mission, products, and business models. ▪ Own the process of hypothesis development, testing, and reiteration with the aim of a deeper understanding of customer behavior and userbase growth. ▪ Devise growth initiatives based on produced insights. ▪ Lead performance marketing to efficiently grow our user base and optimize for profitable growth ▪ Develop and implement customer lifecycle management strategies ▪ Identify and analyze key metrics to evaluate and validate growth initiatives. ▪ Lead customer and market research to understand market trends, customer needs, and personas. ▪ Coordinate the integration and translation of primary, secondary, competitive, and environmental insights into growth strategies for Cambly’s products and services. ▪ Identify both strategic opportunities and potential threats associated with emerging technologies and platforms. ▪ Advise stakeholders on the development and implementation of new and existing growth products and markets and as a result, share accountability for their success. ▪ Develop growth strategies and contribute to improving Cambly strategic planning process. ▪ Use a variety of strategies including digital and product-oriented to grow userbase. ▪ Clearly communicate and present insights and learnings with stakeholders across the organization.

• Drive awareness and perception of the Lenovo brand in the defined markets • Implement the overall brand strategy, brand re-positioning, launch of new products and overseeing the implementation of all communication and brand materials. • Accountable for driving the overall country segment marketing plans and ensure all marketing activities are executed within the prescribed timelines. • Prepare a 3, 6 and 12 month marketing plan including rolling 13 week execution plan. Manage the productivity of the marketing plans to ensure maximum return on investment. • Evaluate marketing ROI and track marketing execution performance vis-à-vis KPIs and ROI and evaluate performance on a quarterly basis • Actively execute product launches, campaign integration, communications plans, promotion planning and support channel incentive programs. • Manage the quarterly marketing budget plan and work with stakeholder to allocate marketing budget aligned to key marketing priorities and follow required budgeting processes • Work with alliance partners to manage alliance marketing funds and follow required processes to managing alliance funds • Plan and oversee the advertising and promotion activities (above the line as well as below the line) including media, print, electronic, and direct mail. Drive fact based and data driven activities.
