After graduating from the University of Leeds in 2020 with a BA in History. I set upon my path to start a career in law. I graduated from the University of Law with a MA in Law awarded with distinction at the end of 2021. From May 2022, I started my career at Freeths LLP as a Legal Assistant, working in the Clinical Negligence team based in Derby. In February 2023, I was offered a Training Contract, which I commenced in February 2024. I am completing my QWE, alongside completing the SQE1 and SQE2 at The University of Law. My ambition is to become a qualified solicitor and to work in areas such as Sport, Media and Entertainment. I have gone beyond a casual interest in these areas, with my undergraduate dissertation studying the politicisation of football in France and Algeria, as well as my MA dissertation looking at celebrity image rights. However, as I go through my seats and understand more about myself I will be open and eager to understand what other future paths could be suitable.
