I have been working with usability and accessibility on a voluntarily basis since 1993, as an employed consultant since 2000 and as an independent consultant since 2002. My mission is to create and improve IT-products and -services in order to make them usable and accessible to as many people as possible, independently of their technical, economical and physical abilities. This can only be done by actually including the end user in the process of developing each product and service. I have been into software development since 1984 (as a kid) and since 1992 as a professional. My first web site was released in 1996. In 2003, I started to develop a CMS aimed for blind editors. That CMS was built upon Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP (LAMP). As an independent consultant, I'm mostly into HTML5 and CSS3 as well as java script frameworks, such as Pebble.js , Angular, Node, Bootstrap, Foundation, REST, SASS, GULP etc. I have also been doing some Wordpress ad-on development. As an app developer, my focus is Android. I use both Java and the Tasker scripting language along with all the plugins available. As an IT-accessibility consultant, I have been working with OnSite SEO. When a web page follows the VCAG-guidelines, the page is also moasly SEO-optimized. Nowdays I help my hosting customers with SEO/SEM and other social media campaigns.
