- Member of Global Executive Leadership Team. - Based as an Ex-pat in Oslo covering 13 mines and mineral processing sites spread over Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland with 3.6m tonnes of sales and 340+ employees. - Together with Commercial Vice President jointly responsible for the Profit and Loss of the region. - Led a successful corporate operational labour transformation program optimizing staffing to align with a new 'cluster-based' operating model. - As Project Owner and working with expert consultants and an internal team put together the justification of a major capital investment modernisation project of Nepheline Syenite mine and processing plant in Norway which is now in execution and on completion will have increased the plant capacity by 30%.
- Member of Global Executive Leadership Team. - Fully responsible for delivering and exceeding the global Profit and Loss of the business line consisting of 9.2 million tonnes per year of minerals and recycled glass spread over multiple mines and processing plants. - Direct management of a global sales team of 21 staff. - Responsible for driving business performance through the multi-disciplined Global Glass Performance Team. - Led a team in planning and executing a market-driven growth strategy for glass customers, transforming customer perception from a reliable commodity supplier to a gold-standard materials solutions partner leading to a significant improvement of the Net Promoter Score from 2018 to 2020. - Led the team that by the beginning of 2020 had secured 70% of the business line revenue in long term 3-to-5-year supply contract deals. This gave volume security to the plants, protected gross margin and allowing for value focussed collaboration with Key Account Customers. - Led a business transformation project that reduced the asset footprint in Egypt Operations from three sites operations to one, with a reduction in overall headcount but with no loss of production capacity, leading to increased the profitability on sales.
