CTO of an independent game studio with physical locations in Seattle, Vancouver, and northern Sweden. We currently have 70 employees and are actively growing. We create games, partnering with other studios, original IP, and have contracted with Microsoft Games, medical startups in AR/VR, other indie startups, the Swedish Alpine Olympic Racing Team, and another Fortune 500 company.
Developed a high-performance 3D terrain and mapping engine for PC, mobile and the web, targeting the aviation space. Supported customers such as Honeywell, Panasonic, and FLIR.
Designed and implemented many novel augmented reality user experiences, earning a number of patents along the way. Early incubator for the software stack and engine integration for the HoloLens as well as various hardware innovations - some that made it into product and some that did not (yet). Added HoloLens support to 3rd party game engines. Helped define the HoloLens platform and interaction model.
Core developer on the Direct3D runtime team in Windows - D3D11 and D3D11.1 runtimes for Windows 7 and Windows 8. Lead developer for D3DX.
