I run the Publishing arm of BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, commissioning and producing business and IT books, professional learning and educational resources, and bespoke organisational outputs in print and digital formats. The role is varied with a product portfolio of over 70 practitioner books in print, four computing journals published with partners as hybrid or gold open access, and support for the member magazine, internal and external conference proceedings and contract publishing as a service. This is the go-to position for BCS publishing strategy - working with colleagues, members and volunteers - in collaboration with Policy, Communities, Computing At School, Educational Qualification and Professional Certification teams. This position provides operational oversight of editorial direction, title management, project management, design, production, sales, marketing, distribution, royalties, legal, procurement and related business activities.

Energy and environmental technology reference books. I commissioned over 60 multi-contributor edited collections and authored works for this new books list, rapidly developing a wide portfolio of comprehensive and competitive book projects with internationally renowned editors and authors. I project managed books from research and concept development, through content generation and review stages, into production and on to publication, ensuring critical contributions were secured within tight deadlines, to company requirements and to customer expectations.
