I have worked throughout Europe, as well as Singapore, China, Saudi Arabia & Abu Dhabi. I would like to gain more experience of commissioning & start-up in the chemical processing, oil & gas industries. Responsible for the supervision & control of all pre-commissioning & commissioning activities for the Module Project, through fabrication, tie-in, vendor equipment deliveries, equipment installation, mechanical completion and site acceptance tests. Liaising with the EPCM's engineering, commissioning and project turn-over teams. Review, approval & acceptance on behalf of the Project, of completed EPCM documentation, relating to building facility systems and handover of completed systems to the Module Operations team. Review, approval & acceptance on behalf of the Project, of final documentation from the main equipment vendors (Reis Robotics) and their subcontractors for the 4 x robot production lines.
Supported the Client Commissioning Manager where applicable. Coordination with the EPC Commissioning Manager, monitoring of the progress of field commissioning activities against project schedule. Liaise with client & EPC engineering departments Responsible for approval of commissioning documents both pre-execution & post execution of the black utility systems. Support the Field Commissioning Engineers in their activities. Ensure that Construction Red-lined documentation is available & correct at the end of commissioning activities. Organise final system walk down before hand over to the User or Validation group
Commissioning Engineer responsible for liaison & coordination of onsite vendor commissioning activities (Glatt, GEA Buck Systems, GEA Collette, GEA Aromatic Fielder & Fette; for Novarti's new tablet facility in Singapore. Assisted the Commissioning Manager in his daily duties, covering for him in his absence. Supervision of weekend commissioning activities. Prepared the detailed plan for the commissioning of the plant utilities, identifying the critical path & systems in order to direct the tail end of Foster Wheeler construction activities such that the critical systems were not delayed. Preparation of commissioning procedures to for the preparation of Pre-Commissioning System Binders. Completion of the Pre-Commissioning Binders for all vendor packages, to allow systems to be released from IQ to OQ. Arranged for the repair & certification to Singapore MOM standards of two sub-standard pressure vessels imported from Europe. Identified & selected the sub-contractor for certifying all on-site lifting equipment to MOM standards. Arranged for quotations & placed orders for modifications to equipment with local pharma engineering companies. Sourced & obtained commissioning equipment, consumables, replacement instrumentation and components during the course of the on going commissioning activities.
