About

I graduated last year from UC Merced, earning my B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering with a Cognitive Science minor, and now I'm actively pursuing a career in Data Analytics. I enjoy solving real-world problems with code as demonstrated in my previous experiences, where I've constructed, tested, and debugged tools which improve internal systems and workflows. I have also demonstrated open-mindedness, attention to detail, and leadership skills in positions outside of the tech world with my heavy involvement in on-campus organizations and activities. When I'm not working, you'll probably find me behind the wheel on a virtual Formula 1 circuit, at your local dance studio exploring movement styles outside of my comfort zone, or just exploring new cities while listening to a true crime podcast. I’m always looking for new ways to blend creativity with tech, and I hope to connect with others who do the same!

Experience

  • Teleoperations Memory Developer at Sunday
    Apr 2026 - Present · 4 mos

✱ Teleoperate humanoid robots via SSH and Anaconda environments, optimizing data collection workflows and capturing high-fidelity motion capture episodes for post-training datasets across varied tasks and garment configurations ✱ Translate recording requests from the ML team into actionable collection strategies, identifying effective motion patterns and task modifications that bridge the gap between human demonstration data and robot policy performance ✱ Document and escalate hardware/software failures and workflow blockers to robot engineers, driving iterative improvements to the teleoperation system and robots' suitability for data collection

  • Information Technology Contractor at San Francisco Public Defender's Office
    Jun 2025 - Apr 2026 · 11 mos

✱ Designed and deployed Power Automate flows connecting SharePoint with SFTP servers for automated archiving and file validation and automating evidence retrieval pipelines using Python and Selenium to parse emails, route downloads by case number, and schedule nightly batch extractions ✱ Created Python pipelines using BeautifulSoup and PyMSSQL, retrieving client data by court number and storing results on Excel workbooks ✱ Automated migration of open case files from Synology to a secure cloud file system using Robocopy and Powershell, ensuring file integrity and preserving permissions

  • Project Intern at BART
    Feb 2025 - May 2025 · 4 mos

✱ Developed a Faster R-CNN ResNet-50 milepost detection model in TensorFlow, pivoting from an initial HSV/OCR-based computer vision approach to a pretrained ResNet after documenting false positive rates and missed detections, achieving ~80% accuracy ✱ Annotated ~1,200 images in VIA-formatted JSON to generate TFRecords for model training; added CV post-processing to suppress false positives in final model output ✱ Integrated detection outputs into a Django backend for track visualization and PDF reporting, coordinated model and backend development across a team of 5 using Git

  • Data/Event Management Intern at the Office of Student Involvement at University of California, Merced
    Aug 2024 - May 2025 · 10 mos

✱ Led video production (directing, filming, editing on Adobe Premiere Pro) under the Marketing, Assessment, Website, and Data team for the Office of Student Involvement’s social media pages ✱ Constructed promotional flyers for upcoming campus events on Canva with visuals aligned with campus marketing guidelines ✱ Provided front desk support to students and visitors, addressing inquiries related to registered clubs and organizations (RCOs), staff referrals, campus locations, upcoming on-campus events, and equipment checkout

  • Information Technology Intern at San Francisco Public Defender's Office
    May 2024 - Aug 2024 · 4 mos

✱ Managed SQL databases for handling court minute documents and classifying data using the PyMuPDF, PyMSSQL, and pandas libraries ✱ Programmed scripts in Python and VBScript to automate data mitigation to firewalled datastores and restructure file directories
