Part of a small team responsible for the development and management of Siretta's global distribution network, focusing on inspired wireless technology - primarily GSM cellular modems, antennas, RF cables and connectors & our unique range of SNYPER signal strength analysers.
Responsible for group channel sales and distribution activity across all divisions - including Siretta inspired wireless technology, Sensormetrix remote monitoring & controls and Kiosks4business.
Responsible for the development and management of a global distribution network, focusing on Siretta inspired wireless technology - primarily GSM cellular modems and terminals, antennas, RF cables and connectors.
One year assignment, The brief was to assist in the development of Avnet’s business effectiveness, growth and relationships with TE, their largest interconnect supplier.
Working with a team of three Key Account Managers, one being located in each of the three regions, responsible for TE’s global sales and strategy for Electrocomponents, Premier Farnell, Digi-Key and Mouser Electronics. During 2011 these distributors achieved combined POS of over $260M.
Responsible for the management of TE’s distribution network in Northern Europe. This initially covered UK, Ireland, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Holland and Belgium. In Feb 2010 Germany was added to the remit. The total POS value of business including Germany was approx $150M per annum,.
The role had approx 100 people in the team with annual billing of $110M. The areas managed included, distribution sales, direct OEM sales, industrial energy sales, internal sales (in 5 locations in UK / Ireland) and the product information function. Also within the brief was the responsibility for a separate stand alone electrical interconnect business which focused on supporting the wholesale market with general electrical products.
