About

I am a retired healthcare executive now serving as a healthcare manpower and consumer advocate and consultant. My primary focus is on Healthcare Consumerism, Health Manpower, Health Education and rural healthcare initiatives including rural hospital turnarounds. Working with area health education centers allows me to serve the rural providers in underserved markets through workforce development initiatives. I also serve the consumer through a newly formed company called “The Hospital Guide, Inc.” which further develops that relationship between the consumer and the Hospital. Before embarking on this journey, I retired after serving various hospitals and healthcare systems in engineering turnarounds and achieving the best patient experience ratings possible. Our focus, especially during and post- Covid was to emphasize the patient needs and experiences as we worked towards our goal of long-term sustainability and achieving a five-star rating which is what every provider should seek. Previously, I provided interim management and performance improvement consulting for a variety of health care provider clients both, domestic and abroad. I have been fortunate over the past 40 years to have worked in a variety of healthcare organizations and have specialized in hospital operations, turnaround management and market strategy with a primary focus of exceeding patient expectations. I have a passion for engaging people to create a sustainable organizational culture built on caring for others and delivering the best in patient experience.
