Responsible for oversight of the PART-OPS, PART-CAMO audit cycle, as well as managing the day-to-day tasks of the Safety Management Systems under the requirements of EASA 965/2012 and 1321/2014. Facilitating Safety Investigations, Compliance investigations, Risk Management and Hazard Identification. High level involvement in PART-IS and EROPS pre-audit projects prior to authority submission for approval. Additionally, I was responsible for the oversight of Aviation Security, mitigating risks of operating in to Conflict Zones and the training of Crew and Staff at the company. Company Overview The Aviation Park Group is a private aviation site that hosts a collection of tenants based at Hawarden Airport. This includes aircraft maintenance facilities, flying schools and an FBO. I was nominated Aviation Security Manager during this time and was responsible for the physical security of the FBO, as well as personnel training, access control and airport ID issuance iaw (EC) 300/2008.
Duties include but were not limited to: •Processing handling requests • Booking hotels and taxis • Booking in aircraft movements with ATC and fire control departments • Updating and pre-clearing GAR details for passengers and crew with local border force and customs authorities • Preparing weather and PLOGs for visiting pilots • Brokering charter flights for APG clients meaning I was responsible for ensuring the sale went through from the beginning to the very end • General telephone enquiries at front of house • Dealing with HNWI and UHNWI as well as British Royalty and Military personnel on a regular basis • General processing of payments via credit card/cheque/cash for flights Customer service was valued highly within this job role and therefore it was my job to provide anything that the customer needed. Labor duties: • I was responsible for marshalling aircraft ensuring that were parked safely, whilst doing this I was responsible for the safety of aircraft on the ground and inside the hangers • I drove and operated fuel bowser under full training • I was responsible for the safety of vehicles and personnel whilst escorting them on and off the airfield • A typical example includes escorting ambulances on to the airfield when dealing with medical emergencies, I then had to supervise the flight making sure that no persons or vehicles were in danger from other aircraft moving around the airport
