About

As a seasoned waterfront supervisor and lifeguard, I bring a wealth of experience to the table. With four years of experience under my belt, I have honed my skills at a local school district-owned lakefront swim park, a nationally renowned Pacific Ocean waterfront camp on Catalina Island off the coast of California, and a large California State University aquatics complex. I am a certified American Red Cross Life Guard, as well as holding a secondary certification as Life Guard with the Boy Scouts of America. My skillset is further strengthened by my current NOLS Wilderness First Aid certification, and my PADI open water SCUBA certification. I am an Eagle Scout, having earned the rank in 2018. I have led high adventure crews to both the BSA Sea Base in the Florida Keys and Philmont Ranch in New Mexico, taking on the role of crew leader. At the Sea Base, I used STEM skills to tag sharks, research rare local plants, participate in fish counts and identification, and even built an underwater remote vehicle. While at Philmont, I led an 85-mile backpacking trip in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains of New Mexico, where I honed my leadership and outdoor skills. With my diverse experience and certifications, I am ready to take on new challenges and make a positive impact in any setting.
