My objective is to leave any situation in which I become involved in a better condition when I end my involvement than it was when I began my involvement. I am a focused and organized person able to manage and direct multiple high priority activities either remotely or on-site in order to meet established timelines and/or objectives. I consider developing constructive relationships with employees to be completely consistent with holding them accountable for their results. With customers and suppliers, the same approach has been successful. It's important that they know that while they may not always like what they hear, they will always know the truth, while I maintain my company's confidential information separate from the suppliers and customers.
Develop and deploy consistent Supply Chain strategies throughout a 14 plant Division with plants in 6 countries on 3 continents in order to accomplish annual profit plan objectives and other initiatives. The strategies developed and deployed impact org structures and staffing, sourcing, procurement, inventory, cost savings, economics, supplier OTD and supplier quality. I consider specific metrics of accomplishments to be inappropriate to share in a public forum such as this. Although I prefer to lead by teaching and managing by goals and metrics, I have a consistent track record of quickly resolving crisis issues when my personal involvement is required.
Established strategic alliances with significant suppliers of metal products to Eaton Corp. Developed a process whereby the experts in Eaton's businesses relative to specific commodities provided consensus commodity pricing forecasts. Implemented worldwide strategies and processes for all plants to benefit from improved revenue streams for waste metals. Advised corporate leadership on significant risks in the metals markets in order to align hedging strategies with expected future risks or opportunities.

While in this position, I assisted in the start-up of a total of 3 plants in Mexico and Europe. This ranged from transfer of a product line and existing suppliers, to the establishment of a completely new worldwide supply base and the startup of a new product line in a new building.
