Looking after the plant ,its services and all machinery within in it , including production machinery ,servicing, repair and maintenance of them, project work including moving parts of the plant to new areas and improving lighting and other resources in line with environmental savings
I look after the day to day running of the plant and production machines, ensuring maintenance and repair are fully addressed either with the production machines or the plant systems and fabric of the building, I have a small team of 12 who has various roles from support, admin and maintenance engineers. we are very much into sustainability and i have just completed a solar panel project where we are generating about 25% of our power, other projects i am heading up are LED lighting which we have nearly changed 70%, borehole project ,where we are looking to get 50% of our water from this ,and we have the borehole and water and now setting up the filtration for it, we are monitoring our busbars with CT's and identifying machines and systems that can be switched off over periods of shutdowns, taking over the role of EHS manager in January 2024, since then we have won most improved EHS plant in Danaher in 2024, we were runners up in the best EHS plant in 2025 and we won the best sustainability plant in Danaher 2025, fantastic achievements with my team behind me,
