Forming part of the Client Project Management Team, located in Singapore, main responsibility was managing the main Contractors procurement and supply chain activities under and EPCIC Contract for the construction of the Cambo Project FPSO (Floating, Production, Storage & Offloading). β€ Development of procurement plans, procedures, and execution strategy for tender, award, and delivery of all Hull and Topside Equipment and raw materials. β€ Ensured that the applicable laws, regulatory and contractual requirements were understood and followed by the Contractor. β€ Review of all Contractor proposed Vendors for inclusion in Project Approved Vendor List, performing Financial, Compliance, Ownership, Quality & HSSE Accreditation, and relevant experience checks, utilising Dunn & Brad Street database. β€ Assisting Contractors during commercial negotiations with key Suppliers. β€ Continually assessing Contractors' ability to meet Construction Need Dates. β€ Assisting Contractor with identification and implementation of Lessons Learned from previous projects. β€ Conducting Contractor Audits and agreeing close out action plans for any identified NCRs. β€ Providing inputs into the Project Risk Assessment and Risk Registers with clearly defined mitigations for Procurement and Supply Chain issues. β€ Reviewed and approved all Contractors-Commercial Bid Evaluations, Recommendation to Awards prior to Project Final Investment Decision.
Reporting to the SHI Project Director, responsible for purchase and on-time delivery of all Hull Equipment, Bulks, and Raw materials for a Lump Sum EPCIC Contract for construction of a 3.1 Mtpa FLNG for Mozambique. β€ Responsible for all Project procurement expenditures. β€ Development of all procurement plans, procedures, and execution strategy for purchase and delivery of all Hull Equipment, Bulks, and Raw materials. β€ Managed, mentored, and developed a team of over 30 x procurement personnel including Purchasing, Expediting, Logistics, Quality Inspection departments located in SHI Shipyard in South Korea. β€ Ensuring all POβs were placed on time to support an aggressive Construction schedule. β€ Major Packages included Inert Gas Generators, Emergency Diesel Generators, Azimuth Thrusters, Air Compressors, HVAC, Lifeboats, Essential Diesel Generators, Condensate Offloading Systems, Hull Structural Steel. β€ Supporting Engineering and Design efforts in expediting timely submission of documentation by Vendors. β€ Development and control of a robust PSR and ESR to ensure all Construction ROS dates were met. β€ Closely monitoring Vendor manufacturing schedules and facilitating regular field expediting visits to proactively identify and resolve any performance / delivery issues.
Project Procurement Manager for SHI during βEarly Engineeringβ phase, reporting to the SHI Engineering VP / Project Director, responsible for purchase of all Topside and Hull Equipment, Bulks and Raw Materials for a Lump Sum EPCIC Contract for construction of a Semi-submersible Floating Production Platform for the Gulf of Mexico. β€ Responsible for all Project procurement expenditure. β€ Led a team of 15 x SHI Procurement personnel located in the Topside Engineering Contractor (Wood Mustang) offices in Houston, on a temporary assignment for a period of 6 months, to develop and implement all procurement procedures, plans and strategy and to oversee tender and preparation for award of 22 x LLI Packages, prior to FID, including Chemical Injection, Produced Water Treatment, Hull Castings, Pedestal Crane, HVAC, Pressure Vessels, Exchangers, Telecom etc.. β€ Leading commercial negotiations with all Vendors, including terms and conditions, payment terms, pricing etc. β€ Development and finalisation of all LOI (Letters of Intent) with LLI Vendors formalising contractual agreement prior to FID. β€ Development, approval and issue of Purchase Orders for all 22 x LLI following FID. β€ Organisation and attendance at all Kick Off Meetings for 22 x LLIβs.
Project Procurement Manager for SHI during FEED stage in preparation of award of an EPCIC Contract.
