This is a passion project that began in 2010 and finally became a reality in 2023. The aim of this project is to make it more affordable for a farmer to grow produce hydroponically than in the soil. Through our work, the cost of production for a kilogram of produce has been brought down to PKR18(USD0.06) and our aim is to hit PKR12(USD0.04) by the end of 2025. Our key benchmark is the cost of production in soil which hovers at PKR15(USD0.05) I designed and developed the Eidolon System, an ESP32-powered greenhouse management system that monitors plant health, environmental conditions, sends alerts whenever acceptable conditions are bypassed and takes action to remedy the situation. Patents Pending Organic alternative to rockwool, ensuring affordability and reduced respiratory health risks Carbon liquefaction process that takes Methane from organic sources and converts them into Greenhouse-grade carbon dioxide for plant enrichment

  • Trainer and Advisor on Agriculture in the Newly Merged Districts at Pakistan Army
    Oct 2015 - Dec 2020 · 5 yrs 3 mos

After Operation Zarb-E-Azab, the Pakistan military was tasked with stabilizing the region through a multi-prong approach, with the belief that improved stability will come through increased economic activity. I was selected to initially train farmers to improve their on-farm productivity but this role evolved into investigating the agriculture collapse of the region. •Led an investigation that uncovered a PKR 3 billion seed fraud. This fraud was believed to be one of the major reasons why agriculture collapsed in the region and helped fuel the rise of insurgency activity in the region •Rehabilitated 100 tubewells in the region, providing clean water for irrigation and drinking •Trained and mentored 8,000 farmers to improve their on-farm techniques. Reduced the cost of seedling production from $143/acre to $28/acre (80% reduction) and increased yields from 4 tons/acre to 13 tons/acre, improving revenue from $503/acre to $1,636/acre (3.25x increase)
