I am a Training & Development Service Lead with a background spanning education, technical training, and workforce capability development across complex organisations. I bring over 12 years’ leadership experience, including roles as Head of Year, Head of Department (Design Technology & Engineering), and strategic lead for whole-school Gifted & Talented provision. I have led programmes at scale, worked across multidisciplinary teams, and represented my organisation internationally, having been selected for an English Summer Camp programme in Yangzhou, China. Following completion of the Teaching Leaders programme (now Teacher Education Fellows), I achieved the NPQML (National Professional Qualification for Middle Leadership), strengthening my capability in operational leadership, change management, and quality assurance. More recently, I have worked in talent, skills, and apprenticeship programme leadership, developing and managing digital and technical apprenticeship provision aligned to employer and workforce needs. My strengths include service design, stakeholder engagement, governance, and ensuring programmes meet regulatory, quality, and business requirements. I am particularly experienced in bridging education and industry, translating learning into capability, and supporting organisations to build sustainable, compliant, and future-ready skills pipelines.
