Waste Services Group provides solid waste collection services for commercial and industrial customers via a fleet of front lift trucks across metropolitan Melbourne. It also provides waste brokering and account management services for commercial and industrial customers with multi-site (often national) and complex waste collection requirements.
Led the development of all Finance and Payroll processes and governance structures to support growth of the company through Australia and into Singapore, Malaysia, South Africa and the Arabian Gulf. Provided all Financial due diligence and deal completion to two successful acquisitions in South Africa. Prepared all financial information for the IPO prospectus, worked closely with JLMs and had a lead role in the successful listing through presentations to potential investors. Post listing, I continued in the role of CFO and Company Secretary, and led the Investor Relations strategy.
