Part of the Well Services Team for KPO, based in Aksai. Leading the group supporting the ongoing intervention work in the Karachaganak Asset (contracting, invoicing, contractor management, etc).
Tasked as part of the frontier exploration team to complete, stimulate, and test the high-H2S, high-CO2 Shpirag Field, prior to final investment decision and full field development.
Tasked to develop intervention techniques & equipment to allow Well Intervention, Workover, and Abandonment activities in the Shell Deepwater Bonga Asset, utilising a Riser-less Intervention Vessel instead of a Semi-Submersible Drilling Rig (+1,000mtrs water depth- +70 wells). • Regional SME for Subsea Well Intervention. • Contract Holder for 3 main intervention contracts. Planned & executed several major riser-based multi-well intervention campaigns, including acidisation, well suspension, workover, and abandonment. Delivered a multi-well Deepwater Riser-less Campaign (7 wells), setting a new Shell Water Depth Record of 1,250m, achieving Goal Zero & meeting budget.
Shell C&WI Round 2 Trainer & Coach Tasked to deliver the Shell Completions & Well Intervention Round 2 Competency scheme for PDO. Required to develop all C&WI Staff to a standard acceptable for Round 2 Examination and Certification. W/Svcs Business Improvement & Planning Team Leader Tasked to lead a team with the mandate to review all the ongoing standalone and hoist activities in PDO and to increase utilisation and cost efficiencies across approximately 6,000 active wells. Within this structure we were responsible for the full implementation of the following:- Shell's Global Deliver the Limit for Wellservices, new technology trials, manpower competency mapping and development, business performance reporting, planning & scheduling of Standalone activities. Working daily with the regional Discipline Heads for Well Services and Production Technology, and reporting to the Director's Steering Committee, the emphasis is on the streamlining (& hence increased efficiency) of long-term recovery from the PDO Well stock.
Transferred to WGESP after the lifting of the U.S. embargo on Libya.
