Coordinating research and innovation activities across the different entities in Vard Group. Liaising with mother group Fincantieri on innovation activity. Creating cooperation spaces, connecting people, presenting projects and results internally and externally. Overall technical responsibility for the ship designs that Skipsteknisk AS developed and engineered. Communications with class societies, flag state atuthorities and owners in order to ensure full compliance of the ship designs. Ran the design department on a daily basis. Worked with strategic design development and increasing quality, and worked closely with sales department on specific projects for Skipsteknisk´s customers within fishery, research, offshore and renewable sectors.
Responsible for all hull forms at Skipsteknisk. Calculations for speed prediction, ship motions and dynamical positioning. Preliminary and final stability calculations. Technical support to sales organization. Arrangement and supervision of model testing at different facilities across the globe.
Selling conference facilities at Union Hotel at the national market, with main focus on companies and organizations. Working mainly in Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim, but also briefly in Stavanger and abroad (UK). Also part of the hotel management and having regular responsibility for the weekend activities on the hotel.
Stability calculations of Skipsteknisk projects. Design calculations as well as performing inclining tests and final documentation production. Contacts with class societies, flag state authorities and ship yards with regards to stability issues.
