I am an International Business student with real-world experience in Treasury & International Banking at Bank Mandiri Headquarters, rotating across the Overseas Banking Network Group and the Financial Institutions Business Group. During my internship, I gained hands-on exposure to: - How a bank manages relationships with overseas branches, subsidiaries, and global partner banks - The fundamentals of cross-border banking, including remittance flows, FX-related processes, and international payment channels - Reviewing performance data and preparing summaries to support internal reports - Learning the structure and supervision of Mandiri’s global network in different regions Although I am still early in my banking journey, I am continuously developing: - Data analysis skills (Excel dashboards, pivot tables, descriptive statistics) - Understanding of international banking structures - Cross-border business perspectives, especially Indonesia - Vietnam - Professional communication in a multinational environment I am motivated, adaptable, and eager to build my career in international banking, fintech-enabled financial services, or global business management. My long-term goal is to combine international business knowledge, data analytics, and strong communication to contribute to global organizations - and eventually create value through education and international collaboration.
Overseas Banking Network Group (Core Rotation) - Supported the team with organizing and reviewing information related to Mandiri’s overseas branches and subsidiaries. - Helped prepare internal summaries and data tables for periodic reviews and meetings. - Observed how the bank coordinates strategy, supervision, and communication with overseas offices across different regions. - Built and cleaned data sheets using Excel to support internal tracking and reporting. - Learned the workflow of cross-border banking, including FX, remittance, and international payments at a foundational level. Financial Institutions Business Group (1-month Rotation) - Assisted with reviewing relationship information between Mandiri and correspondent banks / FI partners. - Gained exposure to how banks manage global financial partnerships to support trade, payments, and liquidity. - Learned fundamental concepts of KYC, due diligence, and international banking networks. Key Learning Outcomes - Developed stronger data analysis, reporting, and Excel skills. - Improved understanding of international banking operations, especially how large banks coordinate globally. - Strengthened adaptability, communication, and cross-cultural teamwork in a multinational working environment.
Delivered English lessons for children, designed learning activities, and ensured students understood lesson content. Built a fun, engaging learning environment and supported the development of students’ speaking, listening, and confidence in English.
