Managed a team of 27 to deliver a large-scale transformation programme and the introduction of new technology outside of SAP Security. Project areas were: Robotic Process Automation · Established a three-tier qualified Robotic Process Automation landscape and shared service centre to support seven business units across the organisation. · Wrote the Technical Installation Plan and resulting Technical Installation Reports and 21 other documents ensuring standardised process and procedures. · Enabled one business unit to have significant cost savings which resulted in the solution having a complete return on investment. SAP GRC 10.0 Access Control · Managed and accountable for the transition from GRC 5.3 and IdM 7.0 to GRC 10.0, gaining approval from the CIO the Group Financial Controller to proceed. · Developed the data migration plan that transformed data from four separate systems, ensuring that the 9.2 million lines of data was loaded in the 9-day window. All 124,000 user accounts were available before the go-live date. · Wrote operating procedures and reviewed the training materials that needed to be completed by 12,000-line managers throughout GSK resulting in 2.500 access requests in the first week. Programme and Project Delivery · Managed a team of 27 that implemented the security solution for a system that supported both the Commercial and Manufacturing businesses. · Developed a standardised design and approach utilised for each wave of the programme. · Ensured that changes to the system were effective and resulted in the least impact to users resulting in the security solution being deployed to 115 markets, 12 manufacturing sites and 124,000 users, enabling the system to manage 85% of the organisation’s business.
· Developed new and improved controls so the reviews of SAP systems were more effective. · Developed the SAP Security and Compliance Roadmap to move from the current, to the future state enabling the large SAP landscape to be compliant and centrally monitored. · Established close ties with Compliance, Digital Security and Enterprise Systems Security, enabling cross business and platform risks to be identified and resolved. · Published standards and procedures, including role build and control standards, so that all future SAP implementations followed a standardised model. · Developed the security approach and design principles for a major SAP implementation ensuring the solution would enable future deployments.
