As the CEO of Tech Invest Com, I leverage my diverse background as a seasoned tech entrepreneur, managing an SME, and a developer to proficiently identify and assess investment opportunities within the dynamic landscape of tech startups in the MENA region. Hussein sits on several tech startup and technology companies boards. In addition, he is a board member of the Venture Capital and Private Equity Association that lobbies for the sector and help raise awareness and collaboration. Hussein is part of the investment committee in Oqal Angel Investment group and Falak Angels. Lastly, he is a member of the Industry Advisory Board at MBS College. Hussein has a Bachelor in computer science and a masters in Management Engineering from University of Waterloo. He was part of the first cohort of the Misk Leaders 2030 , which is a program dedicated to the top leaders in Saudi Arabia. Hussein has developed a website (www.husseinattar.com) that has become a directory for the Tech Entrepreneurship Ecosystem in Saudi Arabia, highlighting startups, VCs, Accelerators, and other key players in the ecosystem. Hussein speaks publically about tech entrepreneurship at events and Universities. In Addition, he volunteers as a board member at Tomouh Community of Leaders (tomouh.com), which is a global non-for-profit institute that has built a community of hand-selected leaders in various academic and professional fields and help them cooperate and reach higher levels of success in their fields.

The Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (VCPEA) is a non-for profit organization that supports venture capital and private equity by: - Addressing challenges faced by fund managers, angel investors, and startups - Coordinating with key stakeholders - Reviewing and improving sector regulations and the legislative environment - Raising awareness through training programs and discussion sessions - Promoting innovative and sustainable investment opportunities Its goal is to enhance the attractiveness and long-term viability of venture capital and private equity in the Saudi Arabia.
The National Committee of Entrepreneurship is a consortium of investors & entrepreneurs across different sectors in the Kingdom. Its aim is to protect their interests and communicate the challenges they face to the relevant government bodies for resolution. The committee continues to build on the successes of previous terms with the support of the Council of Saudi Chambers and various government agencies, enhancing its effectiveness in serving entrepreneurs across the different sectors.
