From a young, eager barista to a seasoned Channel Manager for Green Coffee Beans, my 20+ years career in the F&B industry has been a rollercoaster ride of challenges and triumphs. It all started when I was 18, fresh out of high school and ready to dive into the world of coffee. I worked as a barista at Coffee Beans and Tea Leaves, honing my skills and learning the art of crafting the perfect cup of coffee. From there, I moved on to Bonnon Cafe, where I worked my way up from store supervisor to store manager, eventually becoming a multi-store manager responsible for opening four branches. My journey continued as I transitioned to Deera Cafe, where I served as a menu engineer and training manager. From there, I landed a position at the prestigious Cappucino Grand Cafe in Park Hayat, where I excelled as a bar manager, store manager, and finally beverages manager. My career took a turn as I ventured into the business side of F&B, working as a business development manager for Raqtan, focusing on cafes and key accounts such as Starbucks and Tim Hortons. But my heart always belonged in the cafe scene, and I jumped at the opportunity to help build Brew92, one of the first specialty cafes in KSA. As a brand operation manager, I played a pivotal role in opening three branches and establishing the brand's presence in the market. My journey continued with C Hub, where I served as the COO, spearheading the opening of four branches and solidifying the brand's position in the industry. My experience and expertise led me to Esnad Hospitality Company, where I served as VP, helping pivot their business model and create a drive-thru business plan, leasing 15 locations and steering the company towards success. I now find myself at the Saudi Coffee Company, a PIF subsidiary, as a Channel Manager for Green Coffee Beans. With a college degree in business, a post-graduate diploma in strategic management and leadership, and an impending MBA.
