Excited to share that I've recently started a new role as a Cyber Security Engineer with i2x Technology! I'm truly grateful for this opportunity — I'll be doing SIEM and security engineering work in support of some incredibly exciting missions in the space and defense industry. Getting to contribute to operations at that level is something I don't take for granted. I'm also fortunate to be working alongside a world-class consulting partner, which I know will push me to grow and sharpen my skills. Thankful for everyone who has supported me along this journey. Here's to the next chapter!
• Led the development and documentation of baseline configurations for multiple operaional networks, ensuring a consistent security posture across multiple enclaves. • Conducted and documented numerous risk assessments, identifying and mitigating critical vulnerabilities to enhance operational resilience. • Awarded for leadership and technical expertise while leading a multinational threat hunting team, collaborating with U.S. military branches and allied nations to detect and neutralize cyber threats. • Directed intelligence-driven threat hunting operations with teams ranging from 4 to 12 personnel, significantly improving incident detection and response capabilities. • Successfully confirmed and responded to malware incidents, using advanced host interrogation techniques to assess system integrity and minimize impact. • Engineered and configured a distributed Splunk deployment alongside other SIEM platforms, enhancing the effectiveness of real-time event monitoring.
• Deployed a large scale virtual network spanning 8 networks, enabling the safe observation of malicious software and testing of defensive TTPs. • Assisted in planning, developing, and executing a cyber exercise of the United States Marine Corps involving the United States Marine Corps Red Team, improving the coordination of the cybersecurity of the coalition. • Overcame challenges in virtual and physical networking and successfully built the environment ahead of timeline requirements.
• Led the execution of an Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) simulation, mimicking three undisclosed APT groups to assess blue team capabilities. • Developed and refined exfiltration and persistence techniques, improving adversary emulation capabilities for cyber defense training. • Identified critical gaps in Blue Team operations during incident response training. leading to improved response procedures. • Trained 80 personnel in Identified critical gaps in defensive operations enhancing their ability to detect, analyze, and respond to future cyber threats.
