Responsibilities: - Independently completed a Cleanability and Reusable Device evaluation of a newly designed surgical system. - Created a Device Reconciliation document that compiled revisions and change descriptions for 500 instruments - Validated new revision knee system through cadaveric studies, independently performing 8 cadaver operations. - Managed tight deadlines in a fast paced environment to push a new and innovative revision total knee arthroplasty system through its final stages of getting to market.
Responsibilities: - Verified and validated sterilization case designs through Functional Relationship Analyses and CAD assemblies, establishing essential Design History File (DHF) documentation for 5 different sterilization case systems. - Implemented standardized tolerance stacking formats for common worst case scenarios by utilizing Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAD), Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), and Excel. - Analyzed data (MATLAB) for a capability study to ensure assemblies were being manufactured within tolerance.
Responsibilities: - Executed R&D testing with polymer and enzyme mixing and layering methods, improving sensor life in vitro. - Wrote Standard Operating Procedures to functionalize sensors with enzyme and coat with polymer mixtures. - Redesigned and scaled the Chemical Mechanical Polishing method with retired lab gear, saving 10 hours/week.
